We use two online systems in School to help our children to improve their maths skills. Both are purpose-built for young learners and loved by children of Primary age across Schools in the UK and beyond.
Mathletics is competition-based. Children gain points for activities completed and can even enter competitions against their friends. Certificates are handed out for high achieving scores and we also record those on Bronze, Silver and Gold levels on our Wall of Champions (by Reception). Points literally do mean prizes as Dojos are also awarded for high achieving scores.
As well as Mathletics being used in lesson time, the children love it that much that we also put on an lunchtime club and make it available at wet play times. The site can also be accessed at home!

Times Table Rockstars
Similar to Mathletics, Times Table Rockstars is incredibly engaging and visually appealing site that draws children in eagerly to learn their times tables.
Accompanied by a suitably ‘rock’ soundtrack, it makes times tables fun and easier to learn. We’re sure this will be coming from your kitchen table at any minute as the children are keen to also use this site at home.
