Every day is a school day, and we are all still learning

 

We believe that every day helps us all get a little bit better; whether we’re pupils, teachers, parents or part of our wider community. We all have a passionate thirst for knowledge.

Why? Well, for three reasons:

 

1. To be healthy individuals comfortable knowing how we fit alongside others; no matter who we are, where we come from or what we look like

2. To grow as global citizens understanding how to look after, not only ourselves and others, but the place where we live so that those who follow in our footsteps can also make the most of their time here

3. To trust each other to bring happiness to our everyday space, to be our best each day and contribute to a welcoming place where we’re all at ease

 

Our Environment

The children learn about the environment and how we should look after it. Classes have assigned ‘Eco Warriors’ who help their peers become more environmentally friendly.

We have designated two of our outdoor areas as Wildflower Meadows where we can not only help to promote wildlife but importantly hunt for mini beasts!

• Unity, Diversity and Equality

Everyone is welcome at Primley Wood Primary and because of that we have a wonderfully diverse community. We’re a tight-knit bunch who like nothing more than getting together to help each other and have fun.

 

Health, Safety and Wellbeing

The safety and wellbeing of everyone in our care comes first.

But that doesn’t mean that we don’t get to have some fun!

We run Mindfulness classes each week for the children to help them to discuss and think about things differently, and they love it!

For staff, we have the most understanding and approachable Senior Leadership Team. They’re always there to listen, and we work through any issues as a team.
