Primley Wood pupils are ambassadors of the school. We believe our uniform fosters a sense of belonging, pride, and identity. It sets high standards for pupils and makes an important contribution to a positive and purposeful working environment. We ask that parents support us with the uniform policy and ensure pupils come to school wearing a smart, clean uniform every day.

All of our Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 students take part in Forest School activities. This means dirt, puddles, mud and lots of fun exploring the outdoors.
They all therefore need to bring into school the following:
You can buy the above Forest School clothes in regular shops and online but if you’re struggling please speak to the School Office who can help with ordering them.
When the weather requires, please always send your child to school with a coat. In the case of bad weather and if no coat has been brought to school that day, your child will not be able to join their friends outside at breaks.
It is crucial that you write your child’s name into their clothes. On most uniform items, there is a space for this on the washing instructions tag. This helps us to identify clothing left behind – and at the end of the school day when we’re tidying up the clothes be given back to the owner.
If you have lost something, please speak to the class teacher or teaching assistant in the first instance. The School Office can also help.
